Ten Dollar AEM Intake????

just got this shipped in this morning.
this site claims it to be a Mr Gasket part produced by AEM:

i called my racing parts warehouse and they claim Mr Gasket never made a CAI kit for any honda.
not sure the validity of the AEM statement either, but for ten bucks its a steal.

i mocked it up and it looks like its gonna fit great.
i'll post pics of the install once it is finished.

regardless of who made it, its a 3" pipe which is sweet. i felt a difference from whatever size a cheapo accord intake was to the 3".

yep. AEM would have put a CARB label on it. seeing as AEM intakes are the only one's that are technically legal in some states.

and its a short ram intake not cold air. that may be why they said that. it also says it's a "Near fit" so it's probably universal for most hondas

Just Installed!!! Pics!!

this thing looks, sounds, performs, and fits great. best ten(twenty) bucks ever spent. lets just hope my MPG stays the same or goes up.

still gotta mount the support bracket but this is basically how the finished job will look.
keep in mind that this on a H22. not sure how it will fit on F motors.
