ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

The only difference is that the TB on an automatic has a plate that attaches to the TB thats for the transmission... all you have to do is swap it over to your new TB. Not an issue.

So other then that, everything is the same.

        few more Q'S

i wanna get an extra iab plate to use as a spacer. can i get a plate from a h22? i know an a6 and h23 will work. just seeing if a h22 plate will too or if they even have a plate.

also, will the black box from the h23 IM work or does it have to be a a6 black box.

The IAB plate from an H22 should be the same.

As for the black box, same thing.

Another place to lookout for H23 IMs is in the For Sale Thread in the Prelude Forum on Honda-Tech. I picked up an H23 IM with TB and a majority of the sensors, with the EGR removed and holes filled for $50 shipped. Saved me a lot of time and money, so just dig around there. I've seen a Maxbore H23 IM and TB being sold on there for $50 + shipping recently, just keep an eye out..

sorry not trying to thread jack but i was woundering why not run an aftermarket IM insted of a oem. i found one from obx for a 92 lude h23. just askin why everyone is opting for stock parts.

because stock parts can be found at a junkyard for dirt cheap, or free if u know what i mean

the stock h23 plenum flows much better then the f series plenums

my setup right now is a6 runners, double stacked iab plate, and an h23 plenum and i was very happy with the gains, seat of the pants feel had to be 5-7 hp.
