woot! my pt6 came today!

and i dont have a h23 or a6 intake manifold yet!

would it change anything or would i get any improvements if i swaped ecu's for the time being? i was prolly just gonna toss it in the closet till i got a new IM.

It might make you run a little richer, it's tuned for the a6 cam which is a little more aggressive and the a6 IM and you'll lose the speed limiter. Other than that, I don't think it's going to make a difference. I'd stay with the pt3 until you get the IM.

Will it work with F20A? Will it also make me run richer? Wondering coz I'm eventually gonna be doing the A6/H22 IM setup pretty soon, hopefully. And I think I can get a PT6.

sd - Accords with the pt3 (and I think the p12 also has it) top out at about 115ish. the pt6 doesn't. Really, it's not a big deal. You shouldn't be driving a stock cb7 that fast anyway, and by the time you can go that fast on the drag strip, you should have other mods making it safer at that speed.

lonski - I have no idea. So far my knowledge is f22ax related. It's what I have, it's what I'm building, it's what I plan on building in the future. I do occasionally retain other bits of info, but nothing on the f20 yet. Sorry.

ah ok. so i'd theoretically be able to go faster then the 115 limit? does it change the limit or remove it? and it wont effect my spedometer reading or anything right?

No it wont affect it at all... And the speed limiter will be taken out completely...

I put my pt3 back in today. I havent done my intake swap yet ( this weekend). It made it rich, and the Idle pulsed between 1000, and 2000 like the idle speed control motor was confused. Drove me nuts, so I will put it back in this weekend with the a6 and h22 parts.

I got my old 90 EX coupe up to 125 mph with a PT3.

I think only the lx pt3s have a speed govn.

Now i have the pt6, and no desire to test the speed limiter.
