ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    re: headlight

ok i got into this accident and my front headlight is smashed.

now my friend gave me a a set of headlights

now the repairman/mechanic tells me that i also need another piece that holds the headlight into the car?

are those clips or headlight bracket, coz i do have the whole headlight front & back, so what are they talking about, from what i saw it look like it was clips that i would need to attched the headlight on the car.

so are they clips or headlight brackets?
hope u guys could understand, coz im lost myself, lol. thanks

Do you just have the glass for the headlight or do you have the whole assembly that is attached?

I know this is a 1 piece setup and the corner lights are put on separate but does your headlights look something like this? With it attached to the bracket?

When I replaced my headlights with my JDM 2 piece's I only had to remove the bumper (of course) and remove the bolts holding the headlight to the chassis. I don't remember removing any clips.

This is what they look like correct? (borrowed pics from cb95spd's Ebay for sale thread)

If so, you should just be able to bolt them in using your bolts from your headlights. That's all I did. Even when I replaced my friends headlight on his 91 EX I didn't remove any clips either come to think of it.

Im pretty sure the only clips on the headlight are just the ones on the headlight itself like in that pic

i think im missing that gray part or
              thats all i need right?
exactly from that pic, is what i only need to install on the car? no other brackets, that piece and then to the front support of the car?

coz i have thewhole headlight but my mechanic said i need a braket that holds the headlight straight and it goes between the headlight and the front support of the car(where u screw it in the car i guess)
