ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

The IAB is underneath the intake manifold. It is a black box. Here is some help on the wiring:
The H22's IAB circuit that opens the short, high-rpm runners in the intake manifold also gets added by tapping the black/yellow wire from the H22's plug to the same color wire that goes to the distributor in the Accord's harness. This simply supplies power to the IAB solenoid. The pink signal wire goes from the AIB solenoid back to the subharness/ECU at pin A17. Hope this helps.

I got the same problem, If you find out which side for the color code let me know. but there is an alternative to make it somewhat work. run a vacuum line from the top of the diaphram to a vacuum on the intake manifold, as you accelerate the vacuum will begin to close the butterflies. you will see a noticeable difference, but wiring it up is the right thing to do.

i think it worksd the other way around meaning its closed on idle an upon acceleration it opens not closes

Yes you are right. There is vacuum when the the throttle body butterfly is closed and when you accelerate, the vacuum drops.

Well I slove my problem. as it turns out the accord EX & SE have the AIB solenoid. So I had to go to a junk yard and get that one plug. the only differences is the wire that goes to the ECU. The other wire is the same colors as the h22 hardness(the black/yellow wire) wich only supplies power to the IAB solenoid.

Thank you for you help. But do you know any about a/c compressor? is there any way I can use the H22 a/c compresssor. Some one told me all I had to is buy the suction hose from a 1994 accord.

I need to know what side of the connector the black/yellow wire goes on, the right or left side. I have a connector, just that the wires are different colors. I don't want to chance wiring it wrong and shorting something out, especially my ecu. if you could provide a pic, that would great! thanx for your help in advance.

is there any orther solution. The compressor from my oldie is 5 groves pully and bigger. My h22 has a 6 groves pullyand it is smaller. Plus I think that the smaller the pully, The less stress on the engine and less wieght.
