clutch or clutch kit?
what is the advantage to buying a clutch kit over just buying the clutch?

Like mentioned above all the parts included with a clutch kit are recommended to be replaced with the clutch, you should also look into having the flywheel resurfaced or even replaced too.1993 Accord EX2011 Subaru STi

clutch kit ftw! You can get a clutch kit for your cb @ auto zone for like i think I paid $115 and they had one in stock. It comes with a lifetime warrenty
The clutch, pressure plate, and alignment tool were there.. great deal in my opinion

the only reason im asking is cuz im kinda tight on cash right now and like a month behind on court fines but my clutch took a crap yesterday so i need a new one i have 200 bucks my court fines are 100 so ill have 100 for a clutch kit so even if i could just get the clutch plate just to get my car going again and get the rest later or put in a kit later when i get cash again thats fine i just need my car driving againComment

it all depends on if you flywheel can be ground, sometimes you can get hotspots that will not ground down. you'll only know by getting your hands dirty and finding outComment
