ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

what i did was loop it at the tranny. heres what i did.

i know alot of people reroute there lines or just take out the pump and thats all. well what i did is for the two lines that go to the tranny from the rack i use the fittings from the rack and some brake line. reflared one end, bent the line to get where it needs to be and thats all. it clears the cover aswell. i still need to get some parts for a remote reservoirs. but heres the pics of it. enjoy

okay so from what i uderstand is that on the bottom the power steering connects to the tranny and all you do is connect the one that feeds from the tranny to the one that leads in to the rack and that will work just fine and no other mods r necessery .... and i see you have you motor out will i have problems doing it if motor is in and is that part that you to pick of is that the bottom next to the starter right...sorry i have so many ? i just like to learn new stuff

its alot easier to get the stuff out with the motor out or the intake manifold off. u can do it just a little harder. from what u first stated before will work fine.

yo will have to get a "tee" fitting to go between the return line and main line. then to the reservior

Is it really necessary to loop lines etc? Why can't the PS belt just be removed?

If I jack both my front wheels off the ground and turn the steering wheel (engine off), there is no noticable resistance to turning it, the action is very light. I know that in theory the 'static' hydraulic fluid is 'supposed' to create resistance within the rack and make the steering heavy (being why people 'loop' lines etc), but in reality this doesn't seem to be the case...
