Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    want to buy this 93 accord 4dr lx

    i want to buy this car but im not sure the body an interior is all good but
    the motor the say its not running n dont no whats wrong with it
    its all orig an stock with 206.xx miles 5 speed

    but what should i check first
    an how much do motor rebuilds cost for this kinda car??
    any help would be greatful!!

    buy the car for 500 at most since its not running. then find an f22 on craigslist, rebuild, or h22 and swap it.

          rebuild cost too much unless you do it yourslef....SWAP would be the better idea..

            If the body is good. 375 is a very nice price. And you can negotiate even more lol.

              if they said the motor had a knock in it or was blown i wouldnt get it. but if they just said it wasnt running then get it. it most likely just some electrical problem.


              the '92 cb i have now i brought for $200. the guy who sold it to me said it just had an oil leak and didnt know where it was coming from. he turned it on one morning, walked inside for 2min to get something, and came back out and there was oil pouring out of it. since then it sat for 2 years. guess what was wrong with it? the balance shaft seal walked out.


              took me $0 to fix it. took the balance shaft seal retainer off my other cb and put it on there and no more oil leak


              so go ahead and get it man. it just be a cheap fix

                normally how much would a rebuild cost?
                its for 375 obo so i can proly get it down to 200 n have it towed home
