ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

can a bent frame on a 91 coupe be fixed?

guy i'm thinking of buying a coupe off of ,hit a medium in the road.very little dent on the fenders.he replaced the drive shaft,cv boot, and lower control arm......but he says the passenger wheel doesn't line up to the rest of the car, when you look at it.....he says the wheel wobles

the mechanic said the frame is bent, but could it be possible that it is just the wheel itself, and not the frame?

can a frame on a 91 coupe be straightened back to normal?...if so how much?

it probably will end up costing more than the car's worth (totaled) if you have a shop do the work. later.

A bent frame won't cause the wheel to wobble - it may be out of alignment, but it wont wobble.
Sounds like a bent hub, or wheel

I wouldn't buy a CB with those kind of problems. I'm sure you can find a cb with no dangerous problems for a decent price.

It probably bent the wheel, the hub, upper and lower control arms, and possibly even the tie rod ends. You would need to at least get a knee assembly from the junk yard. Best thing to do instead of a mechanic, have a good body shop look it over before you spend the bucks. They may charge like 50 to 75 bucks to put it on a frame machie and inspect it. Maybe you have a friend that does body work that can help.

ima hafta dis agree wit sum a u folks here, though fixxen a bent frame aint wrth dealling with, a running driving car thats a little bent is never worth more than 5 bills. Id pay 3, and just fuck the car up, take it off roaden, jump some stumps, run shit over, all sorts of fun shit to do with a junker car, worse coms to worse, dont change title so you can leave it where it breaks and not worry about the bill. if it lasts month, id find it worth it.

I don't know about the rest of the people here but I think I would rather take that $300 and spend it on a upgrade instead of just buying a car to beat the shit out of.

haha I take it u've done this b4? A cb7 isn't the right car to do this with. save the off roadin for the yota trucks. As for the cb. if you do have a bent frame i'd say it wouldnt be woth it. if it's the wheel buy it and fix her up
