Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    h22 preparations

    i have the big boy sittin on my dolly in my garage w8in on my engine crane now im plannin on rebuildin it wuts necessary to make the motor run as clean as possible (dont really wanna go into the block cuz i've never been so deep in the motor before) now i plan on adj valve, replacing gaskets an seals, mayb resurface the head,anything else i shud worry about or take care of??? shud i just buy the h22 engine rebuild kit an done??
    it looks like someone took care of this motor a lil cuz its got Jb weld all of the egr ports an came w/ after market header an d-pipe also had adj cam gear. Now i kno the motor turn cuz i turned the crank but not sure if it runs will take pics soon

        good idea. replace as much as you can. dont for get the bearing & piston rings

          he said he didnt wanna go into the block but I think all the valve cover gasket and stem seals, timing belt, and as much as possible before installing the motor to make it easier than changing out things with the motor in. but also with u taking off the head u may as well change the rings and bearing.

              Check out my swap thread... D112crzy has my motor and is making kinda a DiY with it so check it out.... It has most of the tear down posted and i am replacing everything that i might need to.
