ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    F22 in a CRX?

I have a 89 CRX. I was planning on doing a all motor ls/vtec, but then my buddy told me about a story in honda tuning. I read it, it was bizimoto's 460 horse honda insight. si it got me wondering.

    Cliffs:
Is there a mount kit for this?
Where can i find options for pistons, rods, valve train, cams, etc?
    Will a H22 tranny work?
If it does, does that mean i can use H series clutch/flywheels?

    ANY help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Crash

contact ESP .. Explicit Speed Performance. they have the mount kit for the EF chassis which in theory should work for the crx as well.

H and F series transmissions are interchangable, as are the clutch and flywheel options.

www.bisimoto.com is the place to go for all things F22A

i went on bizi moto and esp. i found some of the parts i will need but not all. i will still need pistons, oversize valves, and a intake mani/tb setup. I am going to email ESP on the mount kit, they have a h mount kit for a crx, im assuming it will work for a f motor too but want to be sure.

Call me a newb but will h series pistons work in a f motor?

Ya, its another basic swap now. Plenty of information if you search. It really should be easy with all the aftermarket these days. Seems like you can put anything in anything with bolton parts.
Oh, and if you want to take the route of the other bolton swappers out there that go with F's or H's you'll need a B or D transmission. Mine has an F in it, but we had to beat the sides out to fit all that.

Last I checked, the mount kits are for engines with none h or f transmissions.

just snag a b16 cable transmission and buy the F/B kit from bisi moto. That would be a perfect start for a all motor monster. Plus you dont have to worry about the change to hydraulic transmission

i already have a hydro b16 trans with a LSD, i just don't want to have to spend all that money for a f2b adapter

i still need info on pistons, intake mani/tb, and oversize valves. anything helps,

                          thanks,

www.bisimoto.com for internal parts. www.f22parts.com and www.tasauto.com may have some things as well.

An H23 intake mani and TB is the best you're going to get, other than custom.

As for the transmission, you need an adapter, or you need to find a way to run the H/F transmission. Those are your options.

i think you can get a H2B adapter from hasport to make it work too
