Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    f22a1 intake madifold?

    I wanted to kno what is a good intake manifold for my cb7 f22a1? I have been looking through some threads but they are not answering my question. Can any body tell me what kind of intake manifold should I get? Also would the h23 intake manifold fit on my cb or no?

    Would it make a driffrents in hp? if it does how many more hp am I going to get? i kno its not going to be much but i want to kno the driffrents i am going to get compear to my stock intake manifold i have on now.

    A F22A6 or H23 intake manifold would be an upgrade. And yes the H23 will bolt right up.

    And there are a ton of different combos...

    A6 runners + IAB spacer + A6 plenum/throttle body
    A6 runners + gutted IAB spacer + A6 plenum/throttle body
    A6 runners + gutted IAB spacer + non gutted IAB spacer + A6 plenum/throttle body
    A6 runners + gutted IAB spacer + another gutted IAB spacer + A6 plenum/throttle body
    H23 runners + IAB spacer + H23 plenum/throttle body
    H23 runners + gutted IAB spacer + H23 plenum/throttle body
    H23 runners + gutted IAB spacer + non gutted IAB spacer + H23 plenum/throttle body

        The best according to rumors and butt dyno results is:

        f22a6 runners, IAB with butterflies, IAB spacer without butterflies( jb weld the shaft penetrations closed), H23 Upper plenum and H23 Throttle body or aftermarket tb.

        No one has actually done a dyno comparison, so hp increases are unknown. I'd guess more than 5, less than 20. Lower numbers if you are still exhaling through the stock pipe.

          Exactly. Most peoples butt dyno seems to come up with 12-15 HP with that setup.

                I just got my hands on a 91 SE with the A6. Im got the ecu also getting the camshaft to put in my A1 while I get the A6 machined. If you can get the cam it will give a little more than just the intake setup by itself. I just went through some of the same questions. There are some other good threads on here for this stuff. If you have time to look 'em up. The 91 SE didnt cost me a dime. If I can get my hands on one with an H22 before I build the A6 I'll just see if I can sell it to somebody.

                  So do i need a new ecu? So the h23 intake manifold could read into the ecu. Or can i use the one have now?

                    you could use the same ecu. If you want to upgrade though get the p12 ecu which is from a prelude 92 I believe. Its worth the money I heard. Its all on this site if you research

                        what's the best combo for STRICTLY driving under 4000 rpm? I want as much torque as possible.92 lx
