ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

anyway, you shouldn't need to swap ecu's after some bolt on's and an A6 cam. i think they use the same ECU any way.
What else do you plan on doing in the future? You will need a new ECU if you Boost or if you run a high hp N/A build but not so much with just bolt ons.
Unless you really want to you can go for the prelude P12. F22 ECU just gives you a couple of ponies though. If you want to get into a real build and need a tune, look at some of the Tunable Civic ECU's like the P06, P28 and P72. They are fully tunable and are good for anything for that matter.

You have a pt3.
f22a1 and f22a4 = pt3
f22a6 = pt6
The pt6 will help out the more aggressive cam the A6 has, and operate the IAB system in the A6 intake manifold.

The link will give you an example, of where your Ecu is.98' Mustang 3V Swap

The IAB system is controlled by a "little black box".
It's pretty easy to understand. The a1 and a4 intake manifolds, are 4 ported. Meaning, there's only 4 ports inside the whole manifold. Now, the a6/h23 intake manifolds, run off 4...but when you hit 4800rpms, you have a system that uses flaps to open 4 extra ports. The a6/h23 have 8 ports inside. The flaps (butterflies), are opened after 4800rpms, and closed under 4800rpms. So, when you're gettin' on it, you'll notice a little pull once you hit 4800, and it opens the other 4 ports inside the manifold.
I'm trying to find out the actual installation of the h23/a6 intake manifold, onto an a1/a4, so I could find out exactly what you'd have to do to install the black box, and set the IAB system up. Can't find one though.98' Mustang 3V Swap
