ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

what did you do to the clutch system already? did you remove the master cylinder?
you bled both the master cyl and the slave cyl?
make sure the slave cyl. release piston is engaged properly with the release fork/lever. maybe it's pressing out into the air instead against the release fork/lever . Then it wouldn't matter how well it's bled, it'd just be pressing in thin air.
also if at some point a an air bubble got trapped somewhere in the master cylinder that's past, and higher up from, the master cyl. bleed valve, that would explain the problem. The bubble would just stay there and wouldn't get bled. I don't think that's a realistic possibility due to how the master cylinder is aligned on the car, but it's worth considering whether that could have happened.Last edited by batever; 09-24-2008, 06:27 PM.

you have to bleed the master cylinder u before u put it in, its called bench bleeding.....and then once u install it u bleed it at the bleeder screw...if u just replaced the slave cylinder, u prolly let the system run dry, causing an air pocket inside the master cylinder, which u can try to gravity bleed, which means crack the bleeder screw, and fil the master cylider and let it try to flow, u dont need to pump the pedal yet, and then once u get fluid at the bleeder, u can bleed it like u normally would.....if that doesnt work u are going to have to take the master cylinder out and bench bleed itLost Motion Inc. if you take your MC line off dose it still just seep out or dose it spit then... if it dosent spit you got a bad MC as for the brake spring keeping the pedal down you can hook a bungie cord to the bottom of the pedal and the hook on your door jam where the front door latches... it usally takes a while.. if you got a buddy to help you then have someone pump the pedal and try moving the slave Cyclinder with your hand while he pumps the pedal... its worked for me before but i have had thoese nights where i bleed the shit for like 1/2 hour

something like that with out that black piece at the end. Just connect that to the slave and start pumping and all the air will come out. Takes like less than a min lol.
