ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Anone using function & form Coilovers

    http://www.weaksauceparts.com/store/...cat=461&page=1

These things look like pretty good value... I just wondered if there was anyone using them now and what they thought of them. For $630 they seem cheap. MY primary concers is where to get new inserts when the do eventually fail.

They came down in price, it seems!

They're the only coilovers that I know of designed specifically for the CB chassis. Most others were engineered for a CD, but will fit on a CB. They're quality. stickydiljoe, a member here, helped with the development.

F2 Type-I's have been that price for a while.

However, the Type-II's are the ones that StickyDilJoe assisted with.
        Those run $1000+.

They're really good from what I've been told. I was going to get som Type I's for my EK when I had it. Didn't know they had 'em for the CB. Might have to look into this for mine.

$630 isnt bad for full COs.

I dont know much about the Type-I's, but...so far, so good.

I have the last generation Type-II's and love them. Handling response is great and the ride is fairly manageable with the adjustability. No experience with the Type-I's but I would expect them to be of similar integrity with perhaps slightly less adjustability and/or handling attributes.

F2 is a really good company to do business with and I'm sure if your inserts failed they would be able to hook you up with new ones for a reasonable price. If you want to get something different later on though, you could look into Ground Control. I'm sure they would have something that would work.

The Type-II is basically a more adjustable version of the Type-I I believe.
I used to know more specifics, but that was over a year ago that I was going to buy some Type-I's for my EK

i bought my F & F coilover Type 1 way before joey assisted them in the production of the CB chassis Coilovers.

i've had them over 2 years now. and they ride great to me. mine were made for a CD chassis.

another difference between the CO's for the cb vs cd are that the shock tube for the cb version are shorter. you will be able to go lower with the cb version. later.
