ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Any Kind Of Questions About Tricks N Tips For Low Budget Tuning? Just Ask.

Not trying to brag but when it comes to cb7's i've had 3. I worked for honda as a tech after taking 4 years of votec in high school, and i have spent some time paid for by honda getting trained at honda school in Windsor Locks CT. I currently am heavily involved in promoting my team-FEARLESS RACING-and our private garage-FEARLESS RACING INC.-Please feel free to use me as a source for knowledge and troubleshooting. Also keep in mind, that we have my cb7 coupe ex, a crx, a turbo del sol si, a camaro z28, and even a sooped up lil geo tracker. Every non- turbo car i just mentioned already have turbo's waiting for warm weather and free time to go in.(including the tracker)So what i'm trying to say is that questions about all types of cars can be answered, and if not right away i will personally research it for you. Just keep Fearless Racing in mind.

I've got a technical question for you fearlessracing. I have a F22B non-vtec DOHC, and my issue is with the idle. See, I have a vacuum leak, but this leak is one I put there. If I plug the leak up my car will idle low and when I press on the accelerator, reves up and drops down. But when it drops down the car chokes and dies. This happens when your driving or when your standing still. Load or no load.

I have a tuned ECU by D112czry and I was curious about the IAC. I applied 12V directly with the vacuum leak plugged and the RPM's jumped to about 2K. This tells me that the IAC should be able to control it.

          Is my computer bad?
Been a long time. Still alive...

it sounds like that or a timing issue. have you got an adjustable cam gear or have u adjusted the distributor?

the prelude intake plenum bolts up directly.but if you wanna see a real power increase that you wouldnt expect from 45 dollars then go on ebay and grab up an adjustable cam gear-retard it about 4-6 degrees and advance the distributor all the way. watch what happens man. it blew my mind.

Your ecu is NOT tuned. It's only a basemap. Does it drive fine besides turning off when you let off?
