ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Try having your alignment set to -1 degree camber.

I wouldn't. Have you ever looked at the ends of your control arms? not much metal there. People have done it, though.

It'd be better to smack dents in your inner fenderwells to allow more clearance. I need to do that.

got some questions guys: a couple of months ago i got a good deal, i bought some tokico illumina shocks and koni yellow struts and h & r springs for a cool 80 bucks, i got them from a guy that had them on a 96 cd5, and since they have just been sitting in my closet because im saving up to get my front camber kit, got the rear ones already. im pretty sure they will fit may 93 ex right? and they all say adjustable but how do you adjust them? and any idea how much drop will i get with this set up?

Depends on which H&R Springs... I've had both Race and Sport, and both are fantastic.

The Konis are adjustable on the top. The Tokicos... I don't know. I've never been a fan of the brand. Did you get a full set of each? Konis are awesome... stick with them.

But yes, they'll work. 90-97 are interchangable. There are some slight differences in the 94-97 stock valving, but most performance setups are all the same (usually designed for the 94-97, sadly... but we don't have many options there!)

And good call waiting for the camber kit!

actually the two rear are tokico illumina and the two front are koni, i have had this car for 4 years and in the last 3 years i have been wanting to lower it so bad but something always comes up, i even got the h22 before lowering it, and now the day is approaching but i want to educate myself more about this topic so ill know what im doing and the ins and outs of it, like i also bought the rear camber kit from the same guy, so i tell my friend if he can help me lower it the next day and he is like " arent you going to buy your front camber lit" and im like, they make camber kits for the front? i was mad, i had read about rear camber kits but not about the front ones, but i guess i can wait a little longer

People usually do the front camber kit and forget the rear (as I have... )

You'd be best going with Konis all around, but for the price, you got good stuff. Illuminas aren't garbage... just... not Konis.

For a front camber kit, I would go to TASauto.com. They have a brand new upper control arm setup with urethane bushings and an Ingalls adjustable ball joint to adjust camber. They're fantastic. I have a set on my car now, and I'll never get anything else! Tell em I sent you.
