ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

What are you referring to? Have you read the entire thread, which has progressed beyond the initial subject, or are you just being a complete moron and replying with one useless word?

If you can't say something useful, please don't say anything at all. There's no point to it.

Yeah I originally posted this thread when I was going to replace my brake rotors and found I was going deeper into my repairs. Ive been using this existing thread as kind of an update for my frontend project, I hope thats okay. Got my new front struts installed today, cleaned up and sprayed a some undercoating in the front wheel wells. Still waiting for my control arms and ball joints to show up so I can finish the front end. Found out the my upper arms have camber blocks installed onto them, ill have to change these over to the new arms when they show up. Heres a few pics.

Im assuming these are the H&R sport springs. Sorry if the pics are a little large, ill have to start resizing them if they are.
Also, not only were these springs installed onto oem struts I found the stops were not cut. I cut them in half before assembling the new struts.

I was looking at the camber blocks installed on my old arms and it looks to me like they have an eccentric in them that moves the arm in or out to set camber. Ive read about adjustable balljoints and can see how they would be easier to set. These blocks dont appear to be very accessible once installed, I sure dont plan on paying an allignment shop to play with them. Im assuming that if I mark the blocks with a paint pen and install them into the new arms exactly how they came out them my camber adjustments should be close. Ofcourse, ill still be taking a trip to an allignment shop after its back together.
