Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

        Thanx, that was more than I could fine. Still haven't found prices yet. Saw this muffler for sale but have to figure out what it is before I consider purchasing it.

          To answer if it's loud or not. It will be loud like your average autozone muffler.

            Well, I'm talking to the guy and he says it has a tip that you can remove to make it loud (which I definitely dont' want) but that with the tip is quieter. Sounds kinda iffy to me.

            If I want a nice quiet ride what mufflers should I be looking at???

                Anything else is loud and crappy (there may be a couple worthwhile ones, but that's about it for the ones everyone likes).

                If you don't know the brand, it's garbage... and will sound like garbage.

                      Those are the loud ones.

                      Other options are magnaflow and flowmaster.

                        I was at Dan Fast, a locally owned muffler shop and the had cutouts of a magnaflow (had fiberglass) and a flowmaster (did not have fiberglass).

                          I have a magnaflow headerback kit, 2.5" with a high flow magnaflow cat. It's nice and quiet, but mine's supposed to be quiet. Don't like that fart can sound.

                            ^^^ agree with him i have a 2.25 catback magnaflow it's great it's quiet when i want it to be but slightly loud at wot. and sounds nothing like a fart can but a nice deep tone! i paid $449.99 from summitracing.com well worth every penny an it's all 100% stainless steal with a life time warranty!!! to me you cant go wrong with it

                              (i think) the magnaflow had fiberglass cuz it was a thru design, and the flowmaster is chambered so- no glass. i like the double-tip CLA, but no prices.
                              I try to stay double tipped cuz i got a ex. im in sleeper mode right now.
