Idle loopy after installing P12

Anyone else ever install a P12 with a f22 and notice the idle is a little ruff? I just noticed it today. It idles around 500 RPM.

I had to adjust a couple things to stop cold surging. I did the IACV and the FITV and it runs so smoooooooooooooooooth.

When you say you did the iacv and fitv, do you mean you adjusted it? Or you cleaned it?

I just did my P12 install, it actually made the car run smoother.

Best thing to do would be to check and clean the IACV and FITV. I did both a while ago and it helped.

I just adjusted it. When I installed the ECU, it started surging about 100 rpms up and down until it warmed up. Not a big deal, but it bothered me.

Ok now I'm starting to have some worse problems. I just took the car for a ride and after about 5 minutes of driving, the car was sputtering around 2000 rpm. I would let off the gas when it did this and the rpm would drop really low. I'm talking like 100-200 rpm. Then i would floor it and it would sputter for a second, then just take off like normal. What could be the cause of this? It ran fine until today and I just installed the p12.

I couldn't even tell I had a different ECU in it.

I just got back from a hour drive and the car ran fine. I think my car has a mind of its own.

One spark plug just had a slight bit of oil on the threads but I think that was from when my valve cover gasket was leaking but I fixed that. I used the car all day today and it ran fine the whole day. There was a big storm yesterday and I'm thinking maybe something just got wet and was causing the car to act weird.

Ok I think I know what is wrong with my car. The main relay must have went again today because before it was not starting and I took the bolt off the fuel rail and had someone crank it over and no fuel shot out. I then taped on the relay and it started right up. these relays suck! This is the 3rd one I went through in a month. Im going to buy a new one, and install a fan on it.

Cleaned out FITV just before and started car and noticed a difference right away. As soon as I started the car, the idle was at about 1000 rpm. I am going to clean the IACV next. Thank you all for the help.
