Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Cant get my 92 accord to run!!!!!!!!

    Cant get my 92 accord to run!!!!!!!!

    I have a 92 accord and it is miss fireing. I go to start the car and it starts up but then dies out. it seems to not have any power. when i start it i cant accelerate it, if i give it gas it dies and if i let my foot off the pedal it dies i have to just place my foot on the pedal and it seems to idle very low with no power. after a minute or so it dies and it is hard for it to start back on like if its flooded or something. I dont know what this problem could be but it seems to be something small but if there is anyway you guys can help me out with this situation i would appreciate it thanks.

    could be alot of things ..... what kind of shape is it in? meaning is this how you got the car or did it have other symptoms leading up to it ..... is it auto or stick ....?

        I had a problem like that my fuel pump went up was not too hard to replace.

          I got this car like this the person that i got it off of said she was just driving down the road and it just shut off. and it is an auto i mean the car looks in great shape its all complete and clean, the person said they never had any problems with the car but i just dont know.

            could be bad fuel pump , spark issue, injector issue , tranny issue start simple ...have you checked all the plugs,wires,etc.. to make sure you got spark? .... dose it move? you said it had very lil power

                  no offense or nothing but do you want to figure out whats wrong with the other car first ? if you wana show off your car at least do it in the beginner's image gallery

                    Ya it has spark i checked that out, i get the car started and i will put it into drive or reverse and it will want to move you can feel it but it seems to just not get that little extra power i mean if i give it gas it dies out. i just have to keep my foot on the pedal just right or it will die.

                        thats my point ... you want help figureing out whats wrong with the car then stick to that .... it gets really anoying trying to help you and having scroll through all those damn pictures to get the info on the car's problems..... you wana show off your car do it in the image gallery where it belongs

                            have you done any recent maintenance? and the shut off thing might be the main relay

                              when this happened to my car, it would start.....then die immediately after like10 seconds. It was my main relay/ignitor that was the tag team causing the non-start issue.
