ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    f22 to h22

I was wondering if simple bolt ons like intake, header's and exhaust for my stock f22 in my 1990 accord would be compatible for an h22 if and when i swap one in my car.

Intake and exhaust will work but header will not-

Intake is a bit small, but it'll work. Upgrading to a larger pipe is best. It won't hurt anything, though.

Oh yeah, that's right... we're totally wrong. You can't use the intake or exhaust. The new guy said so.

            Don't spread misinformation.

Some things will be different, and some things, like the things mentioned already, will be perfectly fine. Intake and exhaust for instance.

Depends on your intake, most intakes floating around these days are 3" anyway, so if yours is your good to go.
              wat?

I know nothing at all about batteries, can I get an Optima red top and will it still power my H22 if and when I get it?

Leave your battery alone. No need to mess with it.

You can, but it is not necessary.

I just have mad battery acid buildup that i've removed 8 million times, and I get poor power on electronics...no idea how old the battery is, i havent looked for a date or anything (if they do that lol?)

The red or yellow top batteries are nice, but not necessary.

The battery doesn't do anything but start the car. The alternator does just about everything else once the car is running. Heavy electronics, like a big sound system, can draw on the battery faster than the alternator can charge it, but the engine itself sees no benefit from a better battery while running.

If your old battery sucks, get a new one... and keep the terminals and cables clean. They make grease to help that. You don't NEED a red or yellow... but as I said, they're nice. Dry cell is maintenance free, and they last a long long time. I know the yellow is a deep cycle... not sure about the red (I should be... I have a red... but no, not sure...)
