i have a 1000 dollar loan for my car i reallly dont know what to buy,
the h22 will cost me like 1700 everything but i cant afford that,
my f22a4 is going bad!! i need the car for school/job
should i buy a f22a6 with my AUTO f22b1 tranny and fix it up?
plz help me? if i buy the f22a6 do i have to buy a different ecu?

no u dont need a new ecu to make it run but u wouldnt have the extra a6 power.. i have a a pt6 laying around if it comes down to it

He has mildy built f22a motor, his build is a rough estimate, I'm sure u can get it for a cheaper price..


Also check performace tech , dude has h23 mani, which swaps over to f22a head, he has a bisi cam level 2 in, and chipped po6, 155whp, which is like like 175ish hp's

Some shit happens man. I spent around 1500 dollars to go from an A6 that blew a head gasket, and cracked the block.....to an f22a1. It's not expensive at all to make that f22a1 an f22a6. Camshaft, Ecu, Intake Manifold. I mean, you have the a4. The only difference in the A1 and the A4 is 5 horsepower, from a header. Put the header off your A4, onto an A1.....and you have your complete A4 back.
