ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

good grab on the turbo supplies

you will need to do some fabrication to your 1or2g mani to put on your ct26 turbo, it wont bolt up stock because of flange sizing. Also it is possible to run safc but I wouldnt suggest it. If only to 7 psi. you might be able to manage for a while but I would suggest upgrading as soon as possible. Big 16g is an excellent turbo for your engine, my setup exact f22a4 with the big 16g and aem ecu. The 14b is a little small and could hurt the engine with the excess heat it will put on the motor but if you can find a way to deflect some of the heat you might be able to see around 190-240hp with it, depending on tune. A different style manifold will also divert some of the excess heat away from the motor.

you'll still need to run your car hard on a abandon road or on a dyno to set your fuel curves. You wouldn't want to run to lean or way to rich. A little rich wouldn't hurt you either but way rich can cause some issues to your block.

Your going to need to run a ecu that can be chipped so you can run a stand alone system. Greddy e-manage is a good system but not too many people uses it.

I'd go with a hondata s200 if you just want something that will help you run safely. There is tons of tuners out there that can tune the hondata's. There may also be people who may be selling the old set of hondata such a stage 2 wth boost. There is tons of info on the web about turbo's.

I can give you more info if you come to the meet. But I'm no turbo gurru. I have only owned two turbo vehicles. And it was a learning experience.

the easiest way, to get rid of the ecu/tuning the ecu.

is to swap your injection sytem to carberated.
it's not that difficult, using one off the earlier accords.
I've seen it done many times,

then all you have to do is change the jets and watch your spark plugs.

It's not near as effecient but it does work and make lots of power.

I've always been fascinated by carb'd turbos.

It's not all that much more difficult to learn how to tune using Crome or Uberdata, though.
