Well I've got a question for those with the suspension know how...
I am looking at getting NEUSPEED's Super Cup Kit: $599.99 (does this seem a bit cheap? I thought the koni yellows would be more)
includes a complete set of NEUSPEED Race Springs.
includes a complete set of NEUSPEED/Koni Sport dampers.
[They feature 5 ride height adjustment grooves (allows ±14mm of height adjustment), external rebound damping adjustment, and Koni's limited lifetime warranty.]
Are these the same as the koni yellows I hear so many speak so well of?
I do not really want to lower my car as I do much country driving and...well...lowered + country = much scrapage. But a little is acceptable.
It IS time to replace the stock setup and I might as well get something that will improve my enjoyment of driving this car. I'm looking for something sporty but I don't want that "ricer'esk" bouncy ride either. I've seen cars that just...wobble and bounce very rigidly when they hit a bump...fine for a smooth, clean track but no good for the street. I haven't yet tuned a suspension setup and would like to learn how to, so I'm not sure of this setup.
What are your thoughts? Is this going to be a good setup for improving cornering and handling and for what I'm looking for? Is this a good setup performance wise as well? I will also eventually be getting strut tower bars, etc etc...
I thought about kyb's agx's but I'm not sure they will do what i want in the future...
