Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    ANy one ever do SR20 swap..

    has any one here ever done a sr20 swap or another swap in there car that isn't honda/acura....ive seen them done on civics
    but ive never seen one on a Accord.. Im a Big SR20 fan..Im just trying to see the creativity some people can come up with..

    Nobody on here has. I've contemplated converting my 3rd gen Accord to RWD using 240sx parts, but that's about it.


    For what it would take to get a stock SR20 into a CB7, you could have a fully built and boosted F22A making 400+hp easily.

          i think turning your cb into a rwd or awd would be the same idea

            I've helped swap an SR20 into a B11 and a NX B13. I have one in my sentra. If you are looking at this for the accord I wouldn't bother. Best thing you could do if you insist on the SR is to find an older sentra and swap it in it. Very easy to do. Nissan definetly kept it simple.I like messing with older sentras. There is nothing hard on a sentra imo except maybe the timing chain and waterpump which can kick your ass if you let em. Not like you'll ever replace the chain anyway. As for the engine I'm a big fan as well. I'm working on this swap at the moment. The full motor not hybrid..

                  Thought about it ...

                  I thought it sounded like fun, but only because I have always loved Nissans and a buddy of mine in VA runs a Nissan speed shop and does high quality swaps.

                        i was just interested in seeing some frankenstien shiet
                        but ive had a sentra B13 SE-R stock sr20de
                        and also a P10 nissan G20 with a stock SR20 but did a JDM swap in there
                        with lsd trans and some upgrades and man that thing can drive.
                        but i got just the G20 and the CB for now...First honda lets see how it treats me

                            Whatever happened with that guy that was putting a SBC into a Prelude? I know he was stopping on the project, but I wonder if he ever sold it or what....

                              The Honda is a totally different animal... but you should like it. Very well built, lots of potential if you know what you're doing.
