ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

same ecu, but you could also get the p12 for ten extra ponies or the p6 for no speed limiter.

there is a difference between a pt3 from an lx/dx and the ex....ex pt3(f22a4) has no speed limiter....lx/dx pt3(f22a1) has a speed limiter.

Really? I didn't know that. I thought the pt3 was the same in either, but the pt6 didn't have a speed limiter. Always happy to have a new piece of info. Besides, he's 17 with a kid on the way. He shouldn't be anywhere near the speed limiter anyway! lol

I say just try it, if it runs fine it should be no problem, im running an h22 with my stock 93 ex ecu and no problem, of course no vtec but car drives exellent, i am in the process of getting a chipped p28 and some explicit racing motor mounts and it.....will.....be.......ON........muahahahah....m uahahaha....., o my bad getting carried away there but yeah it should be fine

If there's a difference in the A1 and A4 ecu (pt3), it'd have to be the limiter. Only difference in those 2 engines is the header. Plus, stock....they both use the pt3. Wouldn't see why you couldn't use it.

Yes, but it'd run rich, especially at the point where the IAB system opens. Get the A6 intake manifold and cam, and it'd run best.

Well, if you have the mani and head, then you pretty much have an A6. The only things missing are the windage tray and exhaust manifold (the A4 manifold MIGHT be better than the A6 manifold, but that's never been confirmed one way or another). Aside from the windage tray, the F22A blocks are all identical. All the differences are in the head.
