ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Probably a misfire? or fuel delivery problem?

mine does the same thing, when warming it up, it'll miss pretty bad.

i tihnk it may have something to do with either FIV or the IACV since mine idles at 1200 cold sometimes.

losi's had a problem like that, his was leaking coolant from a bad head gasket

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

if your car stumbles for about 10-30 sec. upon start up and then all of a sudden clears up, then I have a strong feeling its your headgasket leaking. b/c after it clears up, that means all the coolant that leaked into there has burnt off and its back to normal, until you shut your car off...in which it'll leak into the combustion chamber again.

If you constantly have to refill your coolant, like every 3-4 weeks like I had to, and are wondering where its going if you don't see it leaking out of a hose, then its more than likely its leaking past the HG.

yeah headgaskets are no fun but on the plus side, i did save over 1500 in labor by doing it myself.

i also did a compression and a leakdow and everything was within spec. the coolant doesnt spew when i have the car running with the cap off either.

yeah your car should use ZERO coolant. That overflow bottle should always be at the same level cold. It'll fluctuate up to the MAX mark when it's hot, but when engine cools back down again, it should settle between the max and min lines. Its been two months since I did my Head Gasket and I havn't lost a drop of coolant.

I just replaced the muffler on my car and it doesnt do it anymore. Do you have a real muffler on the back or is it a noise box? lol
