I'm not sure if this is the right section but here goes. I have 90 se that came with drum brakes on the rear. I plan on doing a rear disc conversion this weekend, the local scrap yard has a few 90-92 CB7's. I kinda know that i neen the full rear suspension complete with trailing arms and all and also the ebrake cable. i want to know where on the car is the proportioning valve located and do i need to get one? The parts that i need for this swap, what years CB7's can i get these off of?

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

the prop valve is in the engine bay underneath the brake master cylinder against/ near the firewall.
Might be different trim levels up there.

The 92-93 EXR (canadian) have the Rear Disc. The EX models DO NOT have disc.
The Canadian EX is a US-LX trim.
As for the prop valve, i have heard of people that didnt use them, and have had no problems.... GL Let us know how it goes.90 Accord EX F22a1 Auto R.I.P.

So i went to the local junk yard and got the whole rear assembly, trailing arms, upper control arms, e-brake cables, brake soft lines, disc and calipers. I could not get out the 17mm bolt for the strut so i took the struts as well. I got alll this for $80 which i think is a good deal. The only thing is that i was told to get the 40/40 proportioning valve from a none ABS CB7 with disc brake, but they all had ABS. Unles there is a way around this i will have to use my stock one. Any ideas on what the best way is to remove the siezed 17 mm bolts from the struts?Last edited by sleeper759; 08-09-2008, 02:36 PM.
