ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Suspension Tune-Up Parts

So here is what I have..

inner/outer tie rods (which includes balljoint)
T.A.S. upper control arms (poly bushings/ingalls)
ST sway bars front and rear (poly endlinks)

So I believe there are still two more ball joints in the front to replace and what needs to be replaced in the rear? Not the ones that need to be pressed out, just the ones I can do at home.

Thanks.. I just don't want to miss anything since pretty much everything is worn out.

don't forget your balls in the rear

I'm actually compiling a big list with part numbers and prices for all around suspension overhaul...I don't have on the list yet if they are ball joints or not and I'm still working on it...when I finish I'll post the ball joint and a-arm part.

check out rockauto.com (1993 honda accord lx link)

shipping is a bitch but you get to SEE what your looking for...I think autozone has the front upper ball joints too. I usually look at rockauto, autozone, oreillyauto, advance, and sometimes abcauto...never acdelco...same shit but $20 more.

You can replace just the ball joint and not the whole arm on the front...it's a little cheaper if you can get that ball joint locally, if you have to get it shipped then your local parts store should have the arm as well...bout the same price. The front lower ball joint...always sold as ball joint alone.

in the rear you've got the rear upper ball joint...the rear is just a bushing I think

    don't forget the bushings too

      rockauto list

I am working on an excel file that has prices, part numbers, etc from four-five websites, not just ball joints but springs and shocks...as a frame of reference.

Now I live in East Texas so your prices will be a little different for local stores...here is a word doc of rockauto prices only.

rockauto tends to be pretty cheap...but their shipping and handling cost is pretty high. I.E. I was going to buy some $12 corner lights from them...with shipping they cost as much as the $30 lights from autozone.

Again these are prices and parts ONLY from Rock auto...that site tends to show more parts than others.

*edit...put the list in a order...front to rear, upper to lower

you can follow the link in my previous thread (unless you have a wagon) and see for yourself. Spicer brand has a red grade...I would avoid those...TOO cheap priced for me. That list is rough and made for me so it may be a little rough to read

Balljoints are very serious, those should be 1st on the list. Replace any that have play in them, be sure to check the rears too. Last weekend I installed Spicer r. upper b/j's (both sides, came from RockAuto), I must say, very well made, fit was excellent. Then focus on bushings!
