ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

        Your brake fluid is low.

Also, it is possible to get an intermittent brake light warning when your center high mount bulb is going bad, but hasn't failed completely yet. I have seen that more than once.

Also, is it the "brake" lamp in the little car icon, or the same lamp that comes on when you put the emergency brake on?

put your key upto the spot on your cluster

It will clear any codes you have allready acquired, If the code comes back, use the diagnostic book from a honda dealer to troubleshoot a solution. Probably something simple. Hondas can be finnicky

The spot on the cluster doesn't clear ANY codes. You have to use the OBD-I service connector for that. The only thing the spot on your cluster does is reset the "maintenance required" indicator, which is driven off of the odometer and turns yellow every 5,000 or 7,500 miles.

Also, I would expect that someone of your overwhelming abilities to know that the braking system has nothing to do with ECU codes. They are completely seperate systems.

                  If I am not correct

then please ask the question more clearly next time, cuz I assumed that was what you were describing. could be wrong though.

Get off your own nuts and stop posting blatantly false information. You are a major drag racer and you are spreading BS about stuff as simple as this? Puhlease.

The electrical power flowing through the car has NOTHING to do with the status of his lights. A layman could figure out that the problem isn't in the electricity getting to the lights because ALL THE LIGHTS WORK. Therefore, they must be getting power. Logic prevails yet again.

The second clue to the problem is that the brake light has nothing to do with the codes, the ECU, or the check engine light. Even if they AREN'T getting any power.

Of course, anyone who knows anything about Hondas, especially if they were building sub 10 second cars, would know that there is a level switch inside the brake master cylinder that triggers the brake light when the fluid drops below a certain level, to warn the driver of a fluid leak, and potential brake failure. The ONLY thing that trigger that light are 1) the parking brake being not being fully disengaged, 2) The brake lights being out or failing (only if it is the brake icon on the little car pictogram), or the fluid level being low.

Helm's says it, Haynes says, Chilton's says it, and it is all over internet forums. It isn't exactly unpublished information.

Now, you can get off MY nuts, and stop posting incorrect, irrelevant and useless information, or I can make you stop. You buried yourself with all of your stupid little antics in the other threads you have been destroying, and you are now on my bad side, so don't expect any kind of breaks. You are clearly not a racer, because ANY racer with a 14 second car they had built themselves would know this simple stuff and clearly you do not. So, you can either drop it here and now, and tuck your tail between your legs, and face the humiliation you have created for yourself, or you can pipe up again and see just how serious I am.

I will give you the choice, and nobody has to know what you choose.

I am tired. Good job. I didnt even think about what he was talking about. I apologise. It was worded weird, could be interpreted as his car is perfect too. I needed to look 3 times to even see what he had actually asked. Dont be so harsh though, I even make mistakes especially after all this harsh battling all day everyday. good catch though

I think you are so articulate you belong in juliart dude.lol.. leave it be or you aint gonna get shit outta me. I know you would like that but once the mods here about you making people who can supply good technical support turn to honda tech they might not worship you as much. So shut up.
The mods are all aware of what is going on. And most of us frequent Honda-Tech. It isn't like it is some super secret community or anything.

P.S. This statement right here is being interpreted as an insult.

Here is a link to the rules, in case you were wondering where they might be.

                          http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=75019

Here are the beginner forum rules which are also well posted. Since this IS in the beginner forums, you are also subject to these rules.

                          http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

We gave you chance after chance after chance to succeed, and you repeatedly were unable to. Anybody with ANY technical knowledge would have answered the simple question about a deck plate, and everytime you were given an opportunity to do so, you went right back to the excuses. This was AFTER allowing 14 pages of your flaming 2point6 about his K24 swap.

You clearly don't have the technical knowledge, you clearly don't have the CB7 knowledge, and you clearly aren't able to follow the rules. At this point, I doubt that you even own a car, especially since your age changed from 25 to 28 sometime between last night and this evening. That tells me that you aren't being truthful about that either.

I don't know if you came from Honda Tech or not, but the BS that goes on there isn't going to fly here. If you call someone out, you BETTER back it up, because the endless flaming, and pretending that goes on over there isn't going to stand here. If you think your technical knowledge is more useful over there, by all means, go post it over there. I don't care.

You are banned for 7 days. That is generous for me as I usually START at 2-3 weeks for this kind of thing, but I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt.

If you want to come back and play nice after 1 week, then feel free to do so, although you WILL still follow the Golden Rule whether you like it or not. If you don't want to come back, that is YOUR choice.
