ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Parts

Ok so i am highly considering getting some performance parts for my cb7. I wanna do something like get new cams, new headers, new intake manifold, throttle body that kind of stuff.
what is some good not so expensive websites to get some of them parts.

Let me be the first to say, you get what you pay for. Going the inexpensive route is always an inticing way to go. But be warned, the price you pay, is a good measure of the quality of part you're buying.

Leave it to me, I have made countless mistakes and errors building the cars I have in the past. Most of those errors were because I wanted to save a little cash, and opted out to buy the lesser quality of two parts. Long story short, those inexpensive parts costed me more than the high quality part would initially have.

So do yourself a favor, save your bones for the better part. I'm not saying you have to find the rarest parts out there; just buy the parts that are proven, and people have used first hand. Yes, there are some good part companies out there that are able to sell their parts a bit cheaper than the big companies like GReddy, APEX'i, AEM to name a few, but always check around on forums to see if anyone has bought these items and used them.

I'm not sure if you're planning on building on an F-series or doing the H-series swap. But for either one, you'll find stuff on these sites.

Skunk2 will have stuff more for the H22...Come to think of it, I don't think they even make parts for the F-Series

Really good deal on exhaust piping kits.

Kind of your run of the mill online performance part shop. But they have a lot of stuff.

I hope this helps you out! Let us know what you're thinking about getting!
