ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Pacesetter Exhaust.

    I'm just about to order this system;
    http://www.performancecenter.com/exh...exhaust-system

I'm not sure if it will fit on my stock cat. The connection on the system is only a 2 bolt while my cat has 3.. Anyone know whats up? will it fit good?

    Thanks,
    Tommy H.

MONZA Performance Exhaust Systems are designed to replace the original equipment muffler system and, in many cases, attach to the stock catalytic converter.

Sounds like it's going to be fine.
Looks like it has to be welded - so not sure. Give them a call and find out for sure

So you would have to weld it?

No you do not have to weld it. I have a pacesetter monza exhaust and it bolts up to the cat, then uses pipe brackets to crimp and secure the pipes. I love the sound of that exhaust.

Edit: The exhaust I bought is the single pipe type and the ends of the pipes look a little different then the one you posted. I would email the manufacturer just to be sure. Here is the one I bought:

If you have not ordered this yet, I would gold off. I know that it is one of the cheaper exhaust systems out there, but I would hold out for something else. If I remember correctly, a few years ago doing research on an exhaust system for my car, the pacesetter did not improve exhaust flow compared to the stock exhaust. If you are going to spend the money and get a new catback system, get something that will improve flow.... Just my opinion....

I hope you don't end up getting the one with the glasspack crap, god, those sound like ass.

I got a full SS 2 1/4" system from eBay- direct fit with resonator, etc, for 90 bucks. I cut their crappy muffler off and welded on a cheap-but-not-so-crappy thrush turbo ($20) muffler. My shit sounds sweet, and I've owned a few different $600 brand-name systems that were only marginally better
