ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

get a p28. easy to find and pretty cheap. accepts tune-able chips too, so you'll be good to go

ok so where can a get a ecu set to a mitsu set up? havent ever really tuned a car that much so i would like to just chip an ecu and be able to run and then possibly get an afc and tune it more but at least a starting set up. thanks

Tuning a turbo car on an afc is a recipe for disaster.
Driving on a chipped ecu with just a basemap is also a recipe for disaster.

Find a local tuner that knows what he is doing and let him help you out. Also, if you have something like a chipped p06 running crome, there will also be no need for use of an afc.

Most tuners and guys on here that sell chipped ecu's have turbo f22 basemaps, however, once you get that basemap and the car running, you need to get it tuned.

Also, there is a company named Haltech that makes full standalones and a plug and play application that is very badass. But that's just me whoring out my own company.

Regardless, do plenty of research and read lots of stuff located in the forced induction section here.

You don't want a Mitsu tune on the ECU... you just need a custom tune to run your motor with turbo. As chessboxer said (and I would listen to him... he knows what he's talking about... see that intercooler? ) you need to have it properly tuned. Find a shop, have them do it, and don't drive it around until it's properly tuned. I've seen more motors blown because people thought "well, it runs... I can floor it!"

A P28 is unnecessary if you're boosting an F22A. A P06 will be cheaper and easier to find. It will have to be chipped, and then tuned. Read up in the ECU tuning section of this forum, conviently hidden away in the Technical section. MRX and d112crzy might be able to help you out (though they recently BOTH just moved to the opposite coast... not sure if they're up to chipping ECUs just yet)
