Tigerjapanese is where I'll be buyin' my h22 from. You've always got your lemons, but they shouldn't be that bad. Just remember to replace the common things before your swap, while the engine's outside of the car. Timing belts, Waterpump, of course....the gaskets/seals for each, and a few things that could hurt the engine from sitting. Change the oil before you start it, just simple shit. I bet half the people that get these engines, have negative feedback, because they just throw it in there car and go. The common things that go bad, are A LOT easier to fix while the engine's out...then when it's in the car. (just tryna help).

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Bought from them a few times,
The JDM F22A I got from them for my Accord arrived quickly and in great condition.
I revved the shit out of that engine, swapped the cam multiple times (one time installed the cam wrong lol), had my AFR waaaay lean when i was learning to tune...it still has perfect compression and runs like new lol

I bought mine from them. the motor wasn't exactly the prettiest.... but it had 250 compression.
and as said before, every company has their issues. People run the company and people make mistakes. You run the risk of getting fucked when you buy anything from anywhere.
I remember a member got an H23 from them and it had a rod knock. the told him to pay for shipping for another motor and sent him another one. so he got a good motor and a good parts motor.

IS this why the f22a jdm is more than the f22b on there website. OR maybe it the lack of demand for one.

I got my JDM Prelude front nose cut from them ok...not a great job packaging or shipping, one of the JDM headlights was sticking out off the pallet and got cracked before it got to me, luckily it wasn't the side I needed.
A couple months ago, I would've recommended Tigerjapanese, but I have been dealing with them about sending us the wrong transmission for my brother's eclipse. Their customer service is terrible, and if they send you the wrong part or something is broken, they are in canada and will try to only give you half your money back.
I am lucky enough to live less than an hour away from both Noyanusa and Japanese Engine Imports, where you can go deal with the company face to face and on a first name basis. Those guys make sure the customer gets taken care of the right way (or you won't leave, haha). You might even get to pick your own motor.
The H22 Sleeper Sedan, updated 8/14
After 4 months down...It's back! and tucked.
Need a Swap or some work done in the DC/MD/VA/WV area?
PM me and get it done right!
