ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    93 ex horn won't stop

I was driving the other day when all of a sudden my horn wouldn't stop going off. I pulled the horn stop fuse but that cut out my cruise control. Where should I start to look? All fuses are good from what I could see.

Tried searching for horn stop threads bit didn't find any that applied. Any help is appreciated as I frequent my cruise buttons.

the horn stop will also cut the brake lights

just check the wiring from the box back

sucks but thats all you can do or disconnect the horns for now and hook the fuse back up

don't have to take off your bumper for this. I think if you take out your bumper lights, and then wiggle your hands around a bit, you can unplug them

                        I can't....I have meaty hands...

so..back in the day.. I had to take the front bumper off to unplug the horns off of one the CB7s I had...

came to find out....there was a short in the horn ( behind the steering wheel cover ) 90-91 ONLY.

                        but....just for a temp fix...unplug your horns.

Was there a weird clicking noise coming from your steering a little before it started going off on its own? If so, there is a metal contact that is very pliable, when you hit your horn it pushes that contact on to a metal plate closing the circiut, and making the horn go off. If you heard the clicking noise chances are, for one reason or another, the steering wheel is hitting the pliable metal contact, and each click is the wheel actually bending the contact to the point where it will not come back off the metal plate.
