ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

question on intake mani coolent hoses..

ok my swap is about done... but i am making sure this is how it is suppose to be hooked up.. so

yellow= suppose to be hooked together? comes from the top of the iacv and to the bottom of the TB???
Blue = top of theremostat housing right behind the theremostat is, to the bottom of the aicv.
red = from the bottom side of the TB to the back of the theremostat housing more towards where it bolts to the side of the head

Okay, the hose on the BACK of the thermostat housing, goes in the slot under the throttle body. The hose ONTOP of the thermostat housing, connects to the IAC.

there are two under the TB. on gose to the back of the theremostat housing
and the hose on top of the theremostat housing gose to the bottom port of the AIC so the hose that comes out of the top of the AIC gose to the other port on the bottom of the TB "the two yellow ones..." i am pretty sure that red braided hose gose to the top of the TB... i didnt think that nipple on top was for coolent but to the hose that gose the the Canister

this is on a h22a4 btw

oh, crap. I was gonna ask if it was the h23 plenum bein' swapped onto an F22. But 2 lines on the throttle body? damn! But, was gonna pull the bumper and lights today, but...last night came across the yellow high beam bein' painted also....so, I went around today tryna find the Krylon window stain, and...I found 1 store that has 'em, and they only have red!! So, I'ma most likely try and find a can of it online. I needa get that silicone sealant too. But yea, I'ma blackhouse 'em.

i didnt add any sealent to mine... and they sealed right back up....i baked the glass off did my paintting and then stuck it back in the oven let it get warm and put them back together while the sealent was still hot and let it glue itself back together...

i got alot of yellow left over... pay shipping and its yours if you want it

but back on topic... i believe all i need to do is connect the two yellow hoses?

or can i not supposivly bypass it completely and just run a hose from the back of the theremostat housing to the front of the housing?

keep it from keeping the air in the intake manny warm.... i dont think i need to worry about the aic freezing up right now as hot as it has been

could this also cause a surging problem from the AIC if i do bypass it?

iam pretty sure the two hoses i have marked in yellow where connected by that metal piece that also connected the valve cover to the intake... i did away with the metal so i think iam pretty good on this... but would it be worth it to by pass it like i have asked in the post above?

so i was right about the top nipple on the TB going to the evap canister?

now maybe you can take a pictures of how you got your Vacume lines running out of the black box...

from left to right on top
#1 = to intake for cb7 map sensor.. leave the map on the H22a4 TB unplugged
                  #2&3 = to back of h22 IM
                  bottom # 1 = EGR
                  bottom # 2 = canister

dont connect them, i have them all bypassed

niples are on the 2 hoses that are in the IM and 2 in the thermostat

                    cons: more time warming up

pros: less shit, less heat on the IM NO MORE *&^% IDLE
