ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Agreed with Wed. I've seen them crack. Good to have them checked.

everyone says the ebay turbokits are shitty.. but its not even that.. its just their attention to detail is almost zero..

ive personally installed that manifold on a 4dr cb7 .. and the manifold is working out great.. only real problem is the Clearance Issues if u retain both rad and ac fan. ac fan is in the way..

anyhow.. same thing goes for ebay kits.. its the little shit thats overlooked..

bovs having dual springs (thus not opening)
wgs having 1bar springs thus overboosting
turbos needing oil restrictors for them to last more than a few months

u do get what u pay for.. but from first hand experience.. for someone who knows how to tinker and make shit work.. their not that bad..

There's nothing like driving a boosted car, but there's also nothing like having a reliable motor like a H22. Definatly better off with the h22.

Yea, without puttin' a little bit of money into the f22a, you're not gonna be able to run too much boost anyway without a problem eventually. Probably get a little over 200 horses, so why not just go h22 that'll last a lot longer with that much power, throw an intake and exhaust on it. I made the mistake, and got another f22 put in my car, and had Turbo on mind. Yea, 1500 dollars, and I shoulda kept my other engine. It drove better with a blown head gasket and cracked block, than this one. I'm puttin' money into my h22 fund here shortly. I just figure I'll try to get my gas mileage back on this engine, so when I pull it, I can give it to someone who would wanna go through the hassle with it. Tryna boost this engine, without replacing the problems with it...yea, it'd have a pretty bad outcome.
