ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

The anchor bolt style (third one) should only come from Ingalls or SPC. I had a Dropzone kit, and it broke on me... and 3 others.

The second one, the Ingalls ball joint, is a very good piece. However, I have some reservations about installing it in the stock control arms, since the stock ball joint generally shouldn't be removed. It weakens the metal. Many people are running that style with no problems, though. cpmike has them, and he drives pretty hard.

The first one will not fit our cars. That's for a 6th gen. Not even the 5th gen UCAs would work on our cars, and the 5th gen suspension is otherwise damn near identical.

HOWEVER... there is a fourth, and far superior option.

The TASpro adjustable front upper control arm. TASauto's own brand, so you KNOW they know what they're doing (they only deal with Accords... and have for a long time now). I just got mine the other day, and I'm waiting until I get some new tires to put them on. The build quality is fantastic. Shipping was quick. And the price is better than those Ingalls ones that won't fit your car. When it comes to camber adjustment, I wouldn't go with anything else. The TASauto kit is THE kit to get.

I've only heard good things about Ingalls. Personally, I don't even have a camber kit, and I'm slammed pretty hard (about 1 finger fender gap all the way around), and my camber isn't that bad. My wear is completely even across the tire, no unusual wearing pattern. Camber doesn't really wear out your tires that bad unless it's HARDCORE, best thing to do is get an alignment after dropping, as TOE is what owns your tires. But if you think the camber's too much, then I say Ingalls, just because I've heard so much good about them.

one thing I've been wondering is that I've heard that some camber kits don't have good clearance.. In other words if you have a drop more then three inches it might rub.. Is this true??? And if so which camber kit design will be In the clear

i got a 3+ inch drop in the front of mine with the SPC kit.. i havnt had a problem with the camber kit rubbing... but my rims tend to rub alot ....
if you take your inner fender out. you see a pinch weld i have been thinking of cutting sections in it and foldding it down to one side lol dosent really hurt the tire but it dose scuff them up a little when there new....

Please, Leave me some feeedback on my ride ^CLICK ^CLICK ^CLICK

I think i read that right..."ive never had a prob. with the camber kit rubing, But my tires rub"......

Isnt that like,a double negative? Thats the same thing? lol

I get what your saying. You still rub, so yes, some camber kits rub. Weather its the UCA, or the tire, some kits rub..

depending on how low you are a little bit of camber may be nessecary to keep the tires from rubbing anyway

I should point out that the adjustable ball joints on the TASpro kits are Ingalls.

Brand new UCAs, adjustable Ingalls ball joints (without the risk of weakening your old stock UCAs to install them), and poly anchor bolt bushings. Buy those things separately, and you're looking at $500 easy... and it won't be as cleanly done. You really can't get a better deal than the TASauto pieces.
