Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Blitz Nur Spec muffler...where to buy??

    I can find any anywhere. Not even ebay. I don't need a full exhaust system or anything, just the muffler...or if they sell an axle back or whatever the case is....anyone know where to get them?

    They are most likely out of production. I havent seen that exhaust system in a while. It was sold as a full system so if your looking for muffler only your gonna be looking hard if not just purchase a system and jack the muffler. The only other way is talk to Blitz Japan.

        Any idea on the cost....straight from the factory will probably be expensive. Do you think it would sound good on a Vigor? I don't want a high pitched ricey whiney bumblebee on crack sound, or loud ass BLAT. Can't stand that shit.

          It's a pretty aggressive muffler. It's definitely going to be loud. Why not just get a universal A'PEXi WS2 muffler and do custom piping? Or find a catback exhaust with a chambered muffler.

            Loud is no problem with me...I want loud, I just don't want whiney and civic-like. Its a 2.5L motor, straight 5 cylinder...should be a big displacement that it won't sound like a civic. Hate the fart cans...

            Also, would be doing custom piping no matter which muffler. I'm also considering a flowmaster single chamber 10 series.

              Really the system is not that loud. I have heard it on mkIII. Raspiness depends on how piping is routed and what is in the piping. Diameter of pipe matters also.

                Was that with the silencer in or out? also, it would be 3 inch or 2.5 inch straight piping, no resonator, and following the stock pipe curvature.

                  you might get some raspiness without the resonator.....maybe just upgrade to a bigger and better resonator to avoid that.

                    Raspy like a ferrari=good....raspy like a civic=bad! Lol...I don't really want to restrict airflow with a resonator, but what kind would you recommend? Magnaflow?

                        Didn't want it to....was just saying raspiness like a Ferrari is fine by me, but not the raspiness of a Civic. Thinking of maybe a Nur Spec with a Magnaflow resonator....
