ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    camber kit

Ok I'm really pissed off. Since my car is lowered I got negative camber. 2 front tires popped on me and I got some nice falken tires for 120$ a pair. This was about 1month ago. I notice 2day that the insides are already worn down 2 bare metal. I'm driving to new york soon and I can't afford to keep buying tires.

What are some good and cheap camber kits I can use? if any1 can link me I'd appreciate it.

I really doubt camber did that. Toe is what eats tires, camber is just uneven wear.
    wat?

look on ebay for an INGALLS or SPC front camber kit! i don't think cheap kits are worth the pain.

i ordered a cheap one and the front camber kit didn't fit...

honestly if you want a cheap camber kit then get one off ebay there like 50 bucks shipped but in my opinion i would get a good one cause i use to have ebay ones and in the end it broke would bang against my A arm ingalls and SPC are the good name brands

YOu need an alighnment (Sp?). My car had a 3" drop for about 6 months, and i went through 6 tires on the fromt alone. I alighned it myself with the old-school string method when i put rims on it. So far so good...

I'm pretty sure its camber because the only part that's down to the metal is the inside of the tire.

How hard is it 2 install these yourself?

Im tellin you man, befor i even lowered my car, the only part of the tire to wear out was the inside. All older accords ive seen do that.

Your right though, a camber kit will help, but then your tires are still gonna wear out in 2 months if you dont get an alignment.

it depends on what camber kit you decide to get there are two different types of camber kits a ball joint and a anchor bold in my opinon the anchor bolt is the easiest since you just remove the old OEM ones and replaces it with the new ones theb all joint one requires you to remove the ball joint that located on the top of the control arm where it connects to the knuckle theres a thread about this look in the suspension section and youll find it there along with a DIY on installation

Will these work? They're at a good price. Plus I found a 50% off coupon for an alignment from tire kingdom

Well these are only $83 . And shouldn't I get a camber kit then an alignment?

Or would an alignment really help me keep my tires longer than 1 month.

I'm looking for a camber kit in the $100-150 price range. I checked ebay and the ingalls cost like $260. Any other brands that are in my budget?
