ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Bushing question(s)

    Two questions for ya guys.

    1. Trailing arm bushing, where can I get one? I'm doing the rear disc conversion and am replacing all of my bushings while I'm at it and am wanting to replace the trailing arm bushing because both the one on my Accord and the one I got from the donor car is shot. Of course I don't want to buy a new trailing arm just because the bushing is shot... I'm not made of money.

    2. Rear lower strut mount bushing, does anyone make a poly bushing for it? If not I'll order the stock one along with a few other hardware items from Honda.

I have one, no trailing arm bushings or rear lower strut mount bushing included... that or I'm a complete idiot and didn't see them in the box.

I have researched this and have as much of a fully poly bushing suspension on my car as the market provides.

            1) No company I know on the market sells a new trailing arm bushing. You have to buy the whole arm to get that bushing. Very expensive, but if you want it bad enough.

            2) There is no poly bushing for this lower shock mount bushing either. I bought new OEM rubber for my setup. I later found out there is one aftermarket company that makes a harder durometer rubber bushing, do a search. I think G-man on here referenced me.

Dont quote me on this, but i have seen people remove the rubber from the bushing, and using MCmasters Poly urithane bushing insert. I dont know how well it will hold up, but thats what i heard of before. (its mainly used for motor mounts, so i dont know how it will vary to suspension bushings.)
