Ok heres the deal, my clutch kept getting stuck half way in, and i had to keep pulling it out with my foot, now im thinking to my self myu clutch is probably going up, and sure anough 200 miles later im cruising in 5th gear and i go to down shift to exit off the free way, the pedal gets stuck all the way in and no gears will ingage..... i can start the car up in first, but thats alll the moving this car is doing, someone help? could is be something with the pedal? or is it the clutch its self?

Is there any fluid in the clutch reservior? It sounds like a leaking clutch master or slave cylinder.

ill have to check that, but im hoping it not the clutch, because im not inclined on paying 700 bucks or up for the work, ill probably try doing it my self._____________________________

its not the clutch but the clutch's hydraulic system. a worn clutch would be the motor revving and not increasing in speed.Originally posted by Slice OneComment

check the following
1.low liquid level.
2.liquid leaking out of one of the connections
if theres still nothing wrong then its your master cyl. they have a spring inside thats suppost to push the pedal back out
