ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    steering problem

hey guys im having some problems with my steering. when i get going 55+ mph my car starts swaying back and forth and my steering wheel feels loose and i can barely control it. could this be something messed up with my powering steering? thanks

oh yea i just lowered it and before i lowered it, it didn't do this. could it be my camber bc its really bad? i haven't had a chance to get a camber kit.

you probably really need a wheel alignment... when you lower these cars to much the wheel toe changes due to suspension geometry change... this can be bad for tires and wheel bearings... fix it quick with a wheel alignment at least or/and get a camber correction kit.

it happens to me when i reach 60 or 70ish. its probably bad camber. i havent had time to do an alignment or buy camber kits or anything so im pretty sure thats my problem which should be the same for you. get those done and you should be fine

scary isn't it lol, (cough) i've taking my integra up to 120mph(jdm ecu limits there) and it doesn't pull from side to side even with the -2.5~ degrees of camber it has due to like 3" drop... its the toe that will kick your ass if your not careful. on a side note, my car will want to do a automatic lane change if I'm on pavement that has mild ruts or uneven.

wheel alignment.... plus do it soon because its gonna mess up your tires then if that happens your gonna need a new set of tires plus the alignment...

well no one mentioned this though, but check to be safe.....check you sway bar endlink bushings in front to see if they're in good shape. Chances are, they're torn/cracked/worn beyond belief like mine were a couple years ago.
