ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    F22A4 and F22A6

Well, I'm picking up a 93 Accord tomorrow (has the F22A6 with a snapped timing belt), and my buddy has a good condition F22A4 sitting around that I can have. He was saying that the A4 has the better intake manifold but the A6 has the better long block or something like that. Was just curious what the best combo would be!

Damn, I think he re-used the exhaust manifold when he went to the DOHC F22. So basically re-use anything I can from the A6? Or is there anything that's better from the A4?

lol, cool thanks! Also, did a little reading, and it looks like the h23 IM is a decent cheap swap. Would it be worth it? The car is an auto right now, so I'm not looking for anything crazy, just want a little more power for passing on the highway, because my GF's 97 SE is a turd! haha

If you have a F22a6 intakemani you would be better off using the a6 lower half and double stack IAB plate with one of them striped, and a H23 upper half
            wat?

Lol I'm going to take the head off this weekend and see what kind of damage was done. If the head itself is good, but the guides and valves are toast, I'll just do a valve job on the head, and get it all sealed up. If it's junk, then well, it's junk!

I'll use the A4 parts if I have to, to get me by. I'm in a hurry, so I might have to temporarily, lol.
