ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

    TAS Auto Exhaust Review

So I've been wanting an exhaust for awhile.. Something good quality, not too expensive and a nice tone.. I was skeptical of the exhaust at first but I really needed something and it fit my price range.. (roughly $210.00 shipped). I received it about 7 days later because it wasn't in stock. The bends on it are great, the welds are awesome, the fitment is perfect... there isn't much to complain about.

The only problem I have is that the silencer is only held in by one bolt so it rattles.. simple fix by drilling two more holes and adding two bolts tho..

I have many pictures and one sound clip that is alright.. I'll get more sound clips.. (trying to keep the neighbors happy)

    Overall 10/10 for this exhaust...

Is it loud? It is unbelievably loud. It's loudest in low rpm's, high rpm is a smooth high pitched sound. I have little to no rasp at all. It's louder than my brothers STi... The silencer helps a lot but mine is currently not in because I hate rattles..

It's also very noticeable, I'll be painting mine flat black soon.

    *It comes with all hardware/gaskets

There customer service is also awesome.. I ordered carbon fiber pedals as well and got them next day.

I put it on another host so it works now.

The exhaust seems quieter today.. either I'm becoming deaf or it's changing it's tone a little as it breaks in..

/sigh... Loud is not good. But yes, the welds look great, and overall, it looks like a good fitment. I would recommend a bigger resonator, or maybe even 2 just to quiet it down.

Thats just me, im not a fan of loud though.

I think it looks nice and the price is good, but loud's not my style. on a side note, what type of rear sway bar is that? Couldn't miss the bright green stiffness under there.

Hey I thought no one was interested so I didn't bother but I'll get some more videos, maybe today if not then once the rain stops..

It's a suspension techniques rear swaybar.. haha yea it's hard to miss..

The exhaust is pretty loud but it's not too bad, keep in mind I don't have the silencer in, I'm going to drill two more holes so it won't rattle when it's in and i'll take clips of that too. It was at a reasonable sound level with the silencer in.. it just rattles with only one bolt.
