Help with Suspension Setup: Springs & Struts

Well I've been doing research and reading a lot of the old suspension threads so I've got a general idea of what I want to do. But I still need a couple of questions answered.

I just purchased some Eibach Sportline Springs (1.8F 1.7R) and I'm looking for struts/shocks. I've decided to get new ones and do it the right way for the most part.

My intentions for the setup are mainly for daily driving/cruising/looks. I don't intend to race or take hard corners and all that good stuff. I've already read about people using KYB GR-2 and Tokico HP with all types of springs. Some say they are sufficient enough and some say they aren't.

I'm hoping I don't camber but some people get it and some don't. Alignment will be done afterwards because I still have a lifetime alignment from Sears that my dad bought like 16 years ago or whenever.

Oh and I'm running 15" stock alloys with 195/60/15 tires.

    Questions:

    1. Will KYB GR-2 + Eibach Sportline Springs be a good enough combination for my intentional use?
    2. Are the Tokico HP worth the extra $50-$75 over the KYB GR-2?
    3. Is anyone running Eibach Sportline Springs without bad camber on your tires?
    4. Is there any additional parts I would need to do the installation besides the Springs and the Struts/Shocks? And could I just use the OEM top mounts/boots and stuff to complete the installation?

Any help or advice would be appreciated. Sorry for the long read.

I can't tell you anything about how the ride on the accord is... but on my old integra I had Eibachs and Tockico HP's and it was great for daily driving and it tightened up the suspension enough to have a noticeable difference

    Hope it helps

i have had a few types of suspension on my 90 accord, first i had bilstein self adjustable shocks, with skunk2 coil overs it worked out fine but kinda bouncy, then one shock blew up so i changed the suspension to tokico hp with tein s lowering springs and personally i didnt like it because it feels too soft and weak, so now i just ordered tokico illumina5 something like that so i mean its all a personal experience some like it soft others not so much, i also got engals front camber kit, but the screws get loose no matter how much i try its hard to get the camber right,

I personally have Neuspeed Sport springs with KYB GR2's. The ride is very good with them. The GR2's will probably be the cheapest "quality" springs without having to go with some discount parts brand which really suck. I bought some shocks from Autozone, Gabriel brand and it is cheaper but only as long as you have stock springs. I had them on with some lowering springs and they blew on the first harder bump that I hit. You will be needing a camber kit in the front and then throw some washers in the back with any kind of lowering springs.

                    1. Probably
                    2. Probably
                    3. ???? You will need alignment, probably some type of camber kit.
                    4. When I did mine, the front bushings and spring isolators (rubber) were OK but the rear needed to be replaced top and bottom.
Lower rear shock mounts were also on the way out.

The Eibach's and new shocks will be very good for a daily driving/cruising/looks.
Take that freek show to the park, maybe the squirrels will care.

#1) Dont worry about camber...It is Toe that causes bad tire wear.
#2) Bilstein HD's, Tockico HP, and Also the GR-2's are just as stiff as the HP's
#3) Get some GR-2's from one of the eBay dealers. I did it with my friend
with ebay springs, and it ROOLZ. no camber.

yeah alignment will be done. my tires are going to last probably through the summer so if the wear is bad ill look into a camber kit. also ill check the mounts and bushings like you said. Thanks!

Toe can be easily fixed with an alignment.
Dump the car, then get one and ur done!
