ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Check under the hood, should be a diagram there...should be mostly similar with the a6

Some one posted the vacuum diagram but I dunno if it was for the a6, do a quick search and you'll find it pretty easy.

please don't thread jack...That EXACT question is covered SO MANY times.

since this is the noob section and by the rules I must not simply say "search" I shall answer your question...
yes it does, check the hp/tq specs for the a1 f22 vs a6 f22...you can potentially add 15-20...25??? hp over the f22a1 by swapping stock parts alone...I won't go into detail as a very short search will do you much more good than me handing the info out.

            ANd to the OP...
If this engine was "thrown" together...vacuum lines are about to be the least of your issues. I would start with a can of TB cleaner, spray vacuum hoses...listen for RPM's changes or "hissing" changes where you spray.

Check EVERY vacuum hole coming off the intake manifold, they should all be easy to spot...every vacuum lines begins at the intake manifold...follow them all...trace them all. Even with a diagram you would have to do this...mark the ones you've checked with a paint marker or white out.

Check all the vacuum line connectors of course (like the check valve on the line going to the break booster...big ol vacuum line )

Next would be to check ALL your intake gaskets...the TB to plenum...plenum to runners...runners to engine...

Then you could check your IACV gasket, your FITV (to the right of the IACV), then the air booster valve...uh whatever it's called...(on the end and to the right of the FITV)...check to make sure your butterfly valve is closing in the tb...

*sigh...basically if it was done improperly...you need to check everything they touched...and every sub piece of everything they touched...

But I tend to overdo things so that's just my .02 on the matter.
