ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    93 f22b2 swap

I had a 90 with a f22b2 already in it when i got it. I decided to take that motor and to put it into a 93 that i just bought. The motor is already in and is sitting perfect... I am now noticing that the connectors for the engine and body is different. Not only the connectors are different but so are wires. There are different amounts of wires and they are also different colors. I need help... please advise

Ya, I've personally torn-down a 92 F22A1 and a 94 F22B2 and some things are different in deed. Most of this is differences in outsourced parts, like the water pump and oil pump, however, they are similar in most aspects.

As for wiring, I'd start by comparing the wiring diagrams and determining if you can just rewire certain things, changing plugs where necessary. As for extra wires, the F22B2 has a crank position sensor that the F22A1 does not. Also, some sensors may be wired differently, requiring extra wires (like O2 maybe?) or you may need to just swap sensors between the two motors. As far as I can tell, the blocks are fairly similiar, if not the same, and most if not all sensors should be interchangeable (except non-existent sensors on the F22A1, like the crank position sensor). I personally recommend getting new sensors straight from Honda, but used sensors from a junkyard will also work.

Or hell, maybe all you need to do is take some parts from your 90 and swap em over to the 93 (wiring harnesses, ECU). Check out the wiring in your 90 Accord while your at it.

to do that hes going to have to swap his dash and all the wires underneath the dash and maybe the wires under the carpet... big headace plus if he went from a 90 to a 93 he probally has ABS? unlike the 90 witch did not so using his harness out of the 90 will void the abs system... best bet is to change the connectors/sensors like you 1st stated in your post

Please, Leave me some feeedback on my ride ^CLICK ^CLICK ^CLICK
