Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

h22 swap no start

    h22 swap no start

    Just got my cb back yesterday from the place that did my swap. Turned it on and it ran fine. Stopped at oriellys, got back to the car and it started fine. I go home turn the car off then realize that i left the windows down so i turn it on but dont start the engine to let the windows up. They went up but really slow then they stopped about 3/4's of the way up. So i just turned the car off and put the power back on again not starting the engine and finish getting the windows up. For some reason i felt like i should see if the car would start up and sure enough it wouldnt. Now everything lights up when its in the on position except theres one loud beep. When i try to start the engine I hear the click inside the car but theres no crank at all. idk

      check ur distributor cap! may b loose

            nope well umm.. I dont think so

              Checked the battery its fine. Jumped the starter and it cranks so the starter works. It wont crank so I shouldnt need to mess with the disributor right?

              EDIT Jumped from starter solenoid to battery or whatever to see if the starter worked

                  Well i know thats the best way to go but id have to tow it and im really anxious to drive it lol. I was hoping it was something simple.

                    its hard to understand what you are saying. Find a diagram and check all the grounds

                      thats one of the things in my way. Do i need a diagram for f22 or h22? Since i didnt do the swap i have no idea whats up with the wiring.
